Thanks to the philanthropic support of WCISA members, industry partners, private and public donors, The Britton Fund awards research grants, sponsors workshops, publishes, and underwrites educational programs with emphasis on issues inherent to the geographic area of California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii.

Call for Research Proposals: 2025–2026 Funding Cycle. Deadline January 15, 2026. The Britton Fund invites qualified researchers to submit proposals addressing critical issues in tree care. Grants up to $30,000 are available for studies on young tree establishment, pests and diseases, climate impacts, ecosystem benefits, wildfire recovery, and more.
