Education is at the heart of a strong, resilient arboriculture profession.
The Britton Fund’s education initiatives are designed to support learning, training, and professional growth for members of the WCISA, tree enthusiasts, community members and our youth. From workforce development and safety training to curriculum development and innovative educational programming, we invest in projects that help build skills, share knowledge, and strengthen the future of tree care across the Western region and beyond.
Through our Education Grants Program, The Britton Fund provides targeted funding to bring practical, high-impact learning opportunities to life. These grants support projects that translate knowledge into action—helping tree care professionals, educators, and partners expand access to quality education, advance best practices, and elevate the profession. Together, we’re growing the people who care for our trees, today and for generations to come. Learn more about our Proposal Guidelines for Education Grants.
