The Britton Fund is committed to raising awareness and the financial support necessary to create the educational resources and opportunities that will help you – our arborists, tree-care professionals, and community advocates – to maintain healthy trees and urban forests for today and for future generations to enjoy.
In partnership with WCISA, information is shared through a variety of online platforms, sponsored workshops, seminars, regional conferences, free technical information sheets, and a range of publications.
Education Day at Rohnert Park – Botany for Arborists 2024

Thank you for a great day of education!
The day was filled with insightful presentations from many of the contributors of The Britton Fund’s latest publication, Botany for Arborists. We explored topics such as taxonomy, water relations, roots, pruning, and more. It was a full day and terrific opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of botany for arborists. CEUs were awarded.
This education day was hosted by WCISA and proceeds from the meeting were contributed directly back into research and education through The Britton Fund.
Plans are underway for our next Education Day on August 21, 2025. We plan to return to Rohnert Park. Watch WISCA and Britton Fund announcements. We hope to see you there!
