The 19th Annual Britton Fund Ride
A Full Circle Return to Oakhurst, California
Gateway to Yosemite National Park
It was a ride to remember!

The 19th Annual Britton Fund Ride returned to Oakhurst, California on April 27, 2026, in partnership with WCISA’s Annual Conference and Trade Show.
Despite cold temperatures, rain, and sleet, our dedicated cyclists completed 100 kilometers through the scenic mountain roads surrounding Bass Lake and Yosemite’s gateway community. Along the way, riders shared a memorable stop at North Fork Elementary School, joining students, teachers, and our friends from the TreeCircus to plant a special tree – the Pinus patula, (commonly known as the Mexican weeping pine), and celebrate the importance of urban forestry education.

We achieved our 100-kilometer goal and are close to reaching our $25,000 fundraising goal. Help us cross the finish line. Support one of our incredible riders with a gift today through our JustGiving.com fundraising page.
Every mile ridden will help to support future tree research and education, including The Britton Fund’s partnership with the Urban Forest Institute to develop new bilingual resources for young tree care.

Here is what past cyclists have said about The Britton Fund Ride:
- It was incredibly fun! Great group of people, very easy going, good food, we raised so much money – very successful and rewarding experience.
- Lots of great people I would probably not have had a chance to get to know otherwise. Beautiful setting. Wonderful support from SAG. The choice of length of ride was really important to many people I spoke to.
- You’re riding for a great cause and it was inspiring to me all the donations I received from residents who wanted to support tree research.
- A complicated way of having fun and feeling good about the world. Camaraderie is HUGE. Personal challenge is a driving, but daunting, force. I guarantee participating in The Britton Fund Ride will be a personal uplifting, invigorating experience for YOU!
